Kartik has over 25 years of experience in media and advertising. After having spent over 12 years with the Lintas Group across Account Management and Media, he launched Active International, a global leader in Corporate Trade in India. He joined Carat in July 2008, as the MD for its Indian operations, and has led Carat in the country since then, managing some of India’s largest businesses like GM, Philips, Muthoot, adidas, Microsoft, MasterCard, Mattel, Total and SCA, to name a few.

Himanka Das, CEO, Vizeum India has over two decades of experience working across categories and brands across an envious portfolio of clients such as HUL, P&G, Bajaj Auto, Jet Airways, Park Avenue, Balsara Hygiene, Coke, BPCL, Maruti, Union Bank of India, Jyothy Laboratories, Samsonite, Idea Cellular, Total India, JSW Steel, Panasonic, Standard Chartered Bank, HDFC Bank, Allied Blenders and a host of others. Trained as a strategic media planner, a hard negotiator and always being impatient to acquire new knowledge and skill sets.
Himanka started his media career with Madison, and has worked with agencies such as Initiative, FCB Ulka, Starcom and a decade stint at Lintas Media Group. He is being with Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) for 7 years. Been the force to turn around Carat India Mumbai office with client wins such as JSW Steel, India First, Disney India, Mondelez and Standard Chartered. At DAN, he is been tasked to turn around Vizeum India since 1st Jan’18. Have earned the distinction of being a sharp strategic shooter to bring solutions to brand challenges along with having the distinction who turns around businesses/ offices from a loss making to being profitable with an aggressive business acquisitions as an entrepreneur. His average client relationship is 5 years + talks about his business partnership. He believes in creating leaders rather than having followers. Beyond work place he is been often seen in thought leadership media industry panel discussions or delivering a lecture in professional institutes talking about media transformation in a digital economy preparing the young minds attracting talents to the industry.

MTV India – Rock the Vote

As the trendsetter for the youth, MTV was the first to sense that during the last general elections, the youth of India needed a ‘catalyst’ to participate in the voting process. The solution was a cross-channel, interactive platform that connected the youth, politicians and the people of India with an innovation for feature phone owners to dial and tweet. The campaign saw phenomenal results, with over 16 million participants, 80 million digital impressions and 30 million TV reach. The campaign led to an 8% rise in youth voting, creating a sense of political and democratic awareness among young voters. MTV’s TRPs also saw significant results, with a 50% rise in MTV channel share.
